That’s completely fine! Crumbshot isn’t only for the sourdough-obsessed. It’s a window into the sourdough world, and a great way to get initiated into the culture, especially if you’re sharing the experience with someone who has “feed starter” recurring in their calendar.

How are you supposed to use these cards?
However you want! Flip through them with your housemates during your second rise, use them with friends over a fresh loaf, break them out during a hot bath* when you’re looking for a gluten-y giggle.There are prompts to guide you, but no rules you have to follow.
*Cards are not waterproof. Bathtub use is at your discretion.
